What a great decade and a half. We’ve had an awesome time working with our partners over the years and are so proud to be crushing it at the 15-year mark. To celebrate, we’re taking a second to reflect on some of our milestones and successes along the way.

2006 | Working out of Brian’s living room

Netrush Co-Founders Brian and Chris set out on their mission to make ecommerce simple. They got started selling a wide variety of products and fulfilling orders from a small storage facility in Vancouver, Wash.

Fun Kickback Facts:

  • In 2006, ecommerce accounted for approximately 2% of total retail sales in the U.S. It has since grown to account for around 14%, per Statista estimates.

  • In 2007, Netrush’s best selling products included the ThighMaster and a Folding Stepper Machine.

2013 | Opening our first distribution hub in Erlanger, KY

After significant increases in sales volume, Brian and Chris made the decision to expand Netrush’s supply chain by opening a distribution center in Erlanger, Ky. Opening in Kentucky provided our business with fast access to most of the U.S. and put Netrush in the same neighborhood as one of Amazon’s main distribution hubs.

2013 | Signing our first brand partnerships

Netrush signs its first brand partners. Over the next seven years, Netrush would go on to help hundreds of brands amplify their message on the Amazon marketplace.

Fun Kickback Facts:

  • Netrush’s first partnership was with shaker bottle company Cyclone Cup.

  • Median first-year sales growth for Netrush partners is 63%.

  • Netrush has over 300,000 seller reviews, and more than 99% of them are positive.

2015 | Landing on the Inc. 5000 list for the first time

“Brian and I didn’t pay any attention to putting ourselves out there. We were focused on what we do and how to be the best at it, and we weren’t too busy marketing ourselves. The brand was the focus, and then all of a sudden we started winning awards.”

- Netrush Co-Founder and President Chris Marantette

After hitting it out of the park performance-wise, Netrush started to garner both local and national attention. One of the first awards Netrush won was placement on the Inc. 5000, a prestigious list of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies.

Fun Kickback Facts:

  • As of 2020, Netrush has been awarded placement on the Inc. 5000 list five years running.

2016 | Exploring international opportunities

Netrush opened two facilities internationally, one in Canada and one in Germany. While not every brand wanted to go international, these expansions opened up a world of possibilities for those that did. By 2017, Netrush launched on Amazon.ca, Amazon.co.uk, Amazon.de, Amazon.it, Amazon.fr, and Amazon.es.

2019 | Founding our advisory board

Establishing Netrush’s advisory board allowed us to bring together top industry leaders with some of the best outside perspectives in the business. Their guidance has continually helped us add value to our processes, strategies, and partners.

2020 | Taking on COVID-19

Like all businesses, Netrush faced unique challenges brought on by COVID-19. We took these head on, and thanks to our amazing team, many of our core capabilities became stronger and more efficient as a result.

Fun Kickback Facts:

  • In 2020, we were able to decrease our supply chain costs by 5% and increase our productivity by 11%.

  • When Amazon limited FBA injection in March, our supply chain team was able to quickly pivot to D2C fulfillment, fulfilling 191.9k units by the end of 2020.

Looking ahead to a bright future

“We’ve come a long way from the company that was headquartered in my living room. These years have been full of successes, both for us and our brand partners. So many talented people have had a hand in making Netrush what it is today. Seeing the 15 year culmination of all of our hard work and dedication is both humbling and inspiring.”

- Brian Gonsalves, Netrush Co-Founder & CEO

It has been an extremely rewarding 15 years. Our company has grown in amazing ways, and it’s all thanks to our staff and partners. We’d like to extend a massive thank you to everyone—team members, advisors, and community members—that have helped Netrush grow over this last decade and a half. Without all of you, there is no Netrush. We look forward to continuing our work together and can’t wait to see what the next 15 years bring.
