Last week Netrush hosted executives from our premium brand partners and other industry thought leaders for our annual Executive Summit. Attendees gained critical insight to plan for 2020, discussed key themes for the future, extended their networks, and learned from Netrush and one another. This year’s summit focused on building unified retail strategies, evolving teams for e-commerce, and understanding the future supply chain needed to serve evolving consumer needs.
“We value our partnerships and know the best way to manage through the constant change of e-commerce is engagement,” said Brian Gonsalves, Netrush CEO. “We are fortunate to have so many partners committed to constant learning and engagement with Netrush and with each other. It’s what also sets these premium brands apart with respect to their categories and how they want to engage with consumers.”

Over the course of the summit, these key themes emerged:
Unifying Retail Strategies
“Now more than ever, brands with a unified strategy across their messaging, customer experience, supply chain, and data, will have the ability to quickly adapt to the ever-evolving retail landscape,” said Chris Marantette, Netrush President. “This unification will create competitive advantages that address the customer-centric approach that premium brands require.”
Supply Chain and Sustainability
“The effect Amazon has had on the supply chain cannot be underestimated,” said Brian Birch, Netrush Chief Supply Chain Officer. “They have created so many options, services, and capabilities and therefore new expectations for customer experience. In order to remain competitive, everyone in the supply chain must focus on flexibility to serve diverse consumer expectations.”
Amazon is the Internet
“Amazon IS the internet when it comes to consumer products,” said Pinky Gonzales, Netrush Director of Marketing. “It’s critical that brands view their Amazon business as an important part of every customer journey.”
Shopping Journeys are Changing
“The path to purchase is no longer linear, said Steve Klinetobe, Netrush Executive Creative Director. “Shoppers are erratic and quick-moving, to reach them, brands should be ready to meet their customers wherever they happen to be, whenever they want to buy.”
